As part of its SUPPORT program, Mawjoudin works towards improving the physical and mental well being of the Tunisian LGBTQI+ community and other marginalised groups.
Mawjoudin aims to provide assistance and support for individuals in vulnerable positions.
Majwoudin has been able to support those who are facing discrimination and violence based on their SOGIESC status .
Great emphasis has been placed on:
-Ensuring LGBTQI+ individuals have access to help/support ,
-Reduce isolation and help connect people to their communities.
-Support in situations of crisis.
The needs and different types of support of those seeking help are identified mainly by Mawjoudin’s counsellors;
Support is offered in different types :
- Psychological support : weekly session every Tuesday in Mawjoudin’s safe space
- Counseling: peer to peer sessions : face to face – Anonymous free phone line: 80106969 – emergency line – chat line
- Orientation to safe professional services providers (Medical, legal, etc.)
- Digital security support

-Arrests : based on 230 – 226 Tunisian penal
